3CX is a full featured PABX (telephone exchange). If you‘ve had dealings with PABX resellers before you will be familiar with the usual sales model. Almost all PABX manufacturers will charge on a per line basis. This means you get charged for every incoming line you wish to use and also every extension you need to use. This is a severe disadvantage to many organisations who need many extensions across a site or even with home workers but the number of calls is relatively low. With 3CX this all changes you can have as many incoming lines and extensions as you want at no extra cost. You license 3CX for the total number of simultaneous calls you want to use and it’s as simple as that.

If you need to add a couple of extensions to an expanding office give us a call tell us which model of telephone you want, tell us what number and name you want on the extension. When the telephone arrives plug it into a standard POE Ethernet socket (computer wall socket) and that’s it, extra working extensions. What if you don’t have any spare network sockets, no problem unplug the lead going to the computer and plug it into the back of the telephone, take the lead that came with the telephone and connect it between the telephone and the wall socket you unplugged the computer from. You now have a working computer and telephone using just a single network point. The 3CX solution offers group calling, call queues, and a full auto attendant which allows you to offer a full telephone menu system all at no extra cost. For a full list of features, telephone model options and costs just give us a call.

CCTV product of the year

Hikvision, the world’s leading supplier of innovative video surveillance products andsolutions, is proud to be the winner of the CCTV Product of the Year 2016 category in the PSI Premier Awards for its range of Darkfighter range of PTZ cameras. The industry-leading ultra-low-light cameras provide crystal-clear color images down to as low as 0.002 lux, in black & white to 0.0002 lux and to 0 lux with IR – conditions that would defeat conventional low-light models.

Best of the Industry
UK security industry magazine PSI bestows its Premier Awards annually, with a reader vote honoring the products and distributors deemed the best the industry has to offer. According to PSI editor Andy Clutton, over 1000 nominations were received across the Awards’ eight categories in 2016. Features, benefits, ease of installation and service were all factors taken into consideration in the nomination process.

Hikvision International Marketing Director, Keen Yao, says the company is delighted to win the PSI Premier Award. “We’re thrilled to receive this award from the readers of such a well-respected publication,” he says. “We believe our Darkfighter PTZ cameras offer outstanding performance, features and value, and we’re honored to see that the readers of PSI magazine agree.”

Superior Performance
The Darkfighter PTZ range features up to 36x optical zoom large 1/1.9’’ progressive scan CMOS chip with 2MP full HD resolution. The cameras integrate up to 200m IR for true darkness vision with EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization), 120dB WDR, 3D DNR, and IP66 environmental protection. The range also boasts a host of Smart detection technologies and Smart Tracking function to further improve image quality and operational convenience, and streams full HD 1920 x 1080 video at full frame rate.

Real World Results
The Darkfighter PTZ is producing a raft of positive results for the City of Salford, in England’s northwest. The Council’s CCTV operatives had struggled when using previous cameras to provide an effective 24-hour monitoring service because they were unable to obtain high-quality, low-light images in the late evening. That changed when they installed Hikvision Darkfighter PTZs in Eccles Town Centre, and were immediately able to view and record high resolution color images even after 11pm at night – when the majority of incidents occur.

Salford Deputy City Mayor Councilor David Lancaster said: “We were astonished at the clarity produced by the new ‘Darkfighter’ cameras. They really do turn night into day and give us pin sharp images which help immensely.”

Lone working radio feature

According to the Office of National Statistics there are four million lone workers in the UK, and about 160 lone workers get attacked every day!

The ‘lone worker’ feature requires the radio user to press their PTT button (on the side of the radio) at pre-determined intervals. If the worker does not check in at the expected time – an emergency procedure is set in motion. Once the worker hasn’t reported back, they’re initially reminded by an audio warning on their radio. If they still do not acknowledge they’re OK (within a set time), an emergency alarm will alert their colleagues or controller. This could be in various forms such as a pre-recorded voice message, text or an audible tone.  The lone worker two-way radio alarm can also be integrated into a VoIP Telephone System onsite.

The lone worker feature is perfect for all potential volatile and dangerous situations such as Street Wardens, hospital personnel & Security staff.

Protect your employees today and call us to discuss how lone worker can provide piece of mind for you and your staff.
