CX is a full featured PABX (telephone exchange). If you‘ve had dealings with PABX resellers before you will be familiar with the usual sales model. Almost all PABX manufacturers will charge on a per line basis. This means you get charged for every incoming line you wish to use and also every extension you need to use. This is a severe disadvantage to many organisations who need many extensions across a site or even with home workers but the number of calls is relatively low. With 3CX this all changes you can have as many incoming lines and extensions as you want at no extra cost. You now have a working computer and telephone using just a single network point.
